Description of Services provided
- Preliminary interaction with the contractor’s Project Team on behalf of the UADD to initiate all preliminary actions and mobilization
- Prepare a Project Budget and cash flow statement as soon as major project requirements have been identified, and update the same period for the UADD’s approval and suggest corrective actions in case of significant variances
- Ensure all works are executed at site strictly as per the approval granted by UADD and the terms and conditions of the Contract Agreement entered between UADD and the respective Contractor
- Adequate and constant day to day technical supervision over the construction including giving layout, it’s checking, checking requirements of materials and equipment and their procurement in time, conforming to approved specifications and accepted standards
- Maintain required registers for Cement, steel, HT wire, bearing, expansion joint, etc. material received & consumption and record the above details at the site with a necessary copy of bill, octroi receipt, royalty pass, etc. in the format suggested by UADD
- Ensure the proper establishment of field laboratories/quality control equipment on-site by contractors to conduct tests on materials/mixes being used for construction such as cement, steel, bricks, mortars, concretes, etc.
- Suggest modifications, if any, due to site conditions and submit the recommendations along with cost variations
- Co-ordinate between the contractor & conduct meetings (generally weekly meetings) at the project site with Contractor and Consultant, record and distribute minutes of meeting to all concerns.
- Verification and recommendation for payment by UAD of contractor’s periodic or stage-wise bills for the work done and material/plant advance, recording joint measurement of work and certification of the bills that the work is in accordance with the design, quality, etc. and maintain necessary site computerized measurement records and other site records
- Submit extra items / substituted items, deviations, necessary statements duly supported by justification and analysis of rates in unavoidable circumstances
- Review and monitor Safety Measures taken by the Contractor on regular basis
- Prepare and submit Monthly Progress Report and Final Report
- Review and Finalization of Final Bill including review and approval of “As-built” drawings
